Kate Merlin is a science and nature writer and author living near Moncton, NB.  Her educational background in ecology and genetics has aided her research for her book Trails of Greater Moncton, and numerous magazine articles. She enjoys presenting scientific subjects in understandable language.  Corporate writing projects have included case studies, newsletters, interpretive panels, fact sheets, and symposium proceedings.  During the school year she also works as a school library assistant managing two school libraries and sharing her love of books with students from kindergarten to grade twelve.
